Product Description

This was the one we really wanted to make for you. The Chelsea Boots. We introduce one new style each year. So why a Chelsea Boot? To be honest, this style was on our wishlist for a very very long time. Just because…well, look at it. It has ‘Butts and Shoulders’ written all over it. This boot is begging for natural leather. Especially with a crepe sole. The large cuts and curves will highlight the patina perfectly.

We think we have said enough about our leather. But let’s talk about the crepe sole. The highest quality rubber is used for our soles. A natural material, based around extracted juices/saps from the Hevea tree. Harvesting the sap does not harm the tree. And for a regular size of Chelsea boots around 30-35 cuts are needed. After filtration, the process continues with the separation of specific components of the rubber. Moist is being removed by pressing the rubber. In the end a very durable natural product appears. The extraordinary resilience of a crepe sole is its main advantage. The unbeatable comfort will make your Chelseas an absolute footwear-favorite. If you are interested, Heddels wrote a great article about crepe rubber.
